Please beware of scam artists from overseas who offer a cheque/bank draft for greater then the value of your car and ask you to return the change from the check/bank draft electonically.
This is an excerpt from an email one carbuyer private seller recieved:
"this is how i want us to seal the transaction cos i dont want any delay at all so as to secure it from other potential buyers. I am going to contact my associate to issue you a Bank Draft/Cheque which will cover for both the shipping and your own money .All you will have to do when you recieve the payment you will take it to your bank to be converted to euros and cashed then deduct your own money then you will send the remaining shipping funds through VIA WESTERN UNION MONEY TRANSFER/ VIA MONEY GRAM to they shipping company that will be coming over to your destination for the pick up for me...."
